Hey kids,

Yesterday we had our March meeting at Mr Bunky’s in Eastover. 23 hardy souls braved the 40 something degree weather (including a few of us who had to arrive

via cage) to enjoy as Greg put it so eloquently ‘ Good, hardy food served in a sufficiently rustic atmosphere’. In other words, good eatin’.

 We announced plans for our next meeting which will be held ‘picnic style’ at Congaree National Park, 100 Park Rd, Hopkins, SC 29061.

and members bring a side of some sort. Final details are still to be worked out, but that is the gist of it and if you have any suggestions please send them in.

 Also, yesterday Michael and Aubrey Hack were presented with an MOA medal for all their work on the club website. It ain’t  just drag and drop to create a website.

Michael informed me that our little club site gets hit hundreds of times a day by hackers, spambots, fake ip users, and general ne’er do wells. Thankfully he has made security a priority and has fended them off so far. Time consuming but we are all in his and Aubrey’s debt for doing such a thorough job.

 Upcoming events outside of the club sphere include the Fontana Getaway in April, Dillard, Ga Getaway in May and our annual camping trip in August.
