Does anybody have experience with this? Is anybody changing their own tires?

I currently take my wheels off and take them to a shop, but this has led to frustration and has become undesirable.

I plan to take on changing my own tires. I have shop space, I have some skills though I have zero experience doing tires other than car tires when I was a kid in a shop with an advanced machine.

I desire to be successful changing my tires without getting mad or dreading the job. I realize there will be a learning curve.

I have respect for using finely engineered tools that may be expensive, and I also have respect for having confidence in picking an appropriately priced tool for my application.

My bikes are street bikes. In addition to Bmw’s I have a couple of triumphs that have wide rear tires (240/50 R16, 9.5″ wide tire)

I’ve been on line and have looked at stuff and videos. Have seen the 5-star reviews of the pricey electric / pneumatic Weaver @$1800 and have looked at manual changers like Rabaconda, No Mar, and Redline, all < $1000.

I’d appreciate any wisdom on the subject–Thanks
